Pitch live at West X West alongside Ireland's most ambitious tech founders. This is your opportunity to connect with US investors, mentors, and enterprise leaders from Ireland, the UK and the US. Four winners will then be selected and flown to New York, to take advantage of Irish Tech Week.

Why Enter?

This is more than just another pitch competition. It's a direct, practical way to connect with US venture capitalists — starting in Castlebar, ending at the NASDAQ.

  • Pitch on a Global Stage

    The four Future Foundry winners will be flown to New York on Sunday October 18th, courtesy of WXW, to take advantage of Irish Tech Week at the NASDAQ building on Monday 19th October.

  • Connect with Investors & Enterprise Leaders

    All 32 selected founders will compete live across quarter finals, semi finals and a grand final — in front of investors, founders and enterprise leaders.

  • Showcase Your Startup

    All 32 selected founders receives a full Founder Pass to attend all WXW talks, panels and cultural acts — 50 speakers, 9 panels, and 18 live acts across two days.

Are you Eligible?

The WXW Future Foundry is open to ambitious companies at Pre-Seed stage who are building something with real potential.

You should apply if:

  • Your company was registered in Ireland at least 12 months ago
  • At least one founder per entry can attend and pitch at WXW26 in person on 15–16 October
  • You operate in MedTech, B2B/Software, AI or FinTech
  • Places are curated, not first-come — only 32 founders are selected
  • You can submit both a pitch document and a 90 second summary video (see submission requirements below)
  • Submissions without a document and pitch video attached will not be reviewed
  • ONLY Founders can apply. We will not accept submissions from CFOs/CMOs/BD

Applications are reviewed by the WXW team in partnership with ATU iHub Mayo, PorterShed Galway, Republic of Work and Charrlie.

Is there a fee to enter?

No, entry is free.

What format should my document be in?

Please provide a PDF document. If you have any formatting issues, email us at info@westxwest.ie and we will be able to help you.

Can I apply if my company is based outside Ireland?

The company must be registered in Ireland, but the team itself can be based anywhere.

When will I hear back after submitting?

Submissions close on 4 September, and our reviewing team will then review every application properly. We will respond to every submission by 25 September.
