Pilgrims

Pilgrims are Paul Noonan and Brian Crosby — schoolfriends who formed Juniper alongside Damien Rice before becoming founding members of Bell X1. Their debut album Wintering, written over two years and recorded at Crosby’s Treehouse Studios in the Wicklow woods, arrived in January 2026: a restrained, piano-led record rooted in space and atmosphere, road-tested in intimate rooms and toured to sold-out houses. Live, Pilgrims is exactly that — voice and piano at close range, drawing on Wintering and reaching back into early Bell X1. Two of Irish music’s great collaborators, back in close conversation after sixteen years.
