Ian Walsh

Ian is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and a Board member at Alpha FMC, a Bridgepoint portfolio company, based in London. Ian previously spent 25+ years at the Boston Consulting Group, advising CEOs and senior executives of financial institutions on strategic, organisational, digital and operational matters, whilst holding multiple internal commercial and operational leadership roles. Ian has Barrister-at-Law, Masters in Finance and Bachelor of Commerce degrees from Ireland. He is also the Chairperson of The Sutton Trust, the UK’s leading social mobility charity. He’s married to Beth from LA with two teenage children.
