Orla Good

Orla Good is Commercial Director at Portwest, a global leader in protective clothing, safety footwear, work gloves, and personal protective equipment (PPE). Founded by her great granduncle Charles Hughes in 1904, Portwest has grown from a local drapery to a global manufacturer trading in over 140 countries and employing more than 4,500 people. 

Since joining the family business in 2017, Orla has been instrumental in driving commercial growth and sustainability, building on her earlier career in Germany’s trade and chemical sectors. Alongside her cousins, brother, and sister, she represents the fourth generation leading Portwest into continued global expansion.
