Róisín El Cherif + Dani Larkin

A double bill of borderland voices. Róisín El Cherif is an Irish-Palestinian singer-songwriter whose soaring, cinematic songs move between English and Arabic, reckoning with identity, home and what it means to belong to two places at once.

Dani Larkin comes from the Armagh–Monaghan border, and her acclaimed debut Notes for a Maiden Warrior mined that territory’s myths and warrior women for a folk music that sounds ancient and urgent in the same breath. Two artists mapping where they come from — and what it costs, and gives, to carry a place with you.
