Aidan Lanigan

27+ years banking experience (11+ years Risk and 15+ Origination). Aidan joined Santander Bank in 2011 and SCIB US in 2017. He is responsible for Structured Finance Credit Risk including Project Finance (“PF”), Securitized Lending, Fund Finance, Residential Mortgage Financing, CLO, and CRE Warehousing. Aidan’s PF experience includes Renewables, LNG, Midtstream, and Data Centers. Prior to Santander, Aidan worked at Allied Irish Banks where he was responsible for originating transactions in PF, Utilities, Oil & Gas Reserve Based Lending, Fund Finance, Leverage Finance, and CRE. Aidan led the development of Renewable lending at AIB and has over 25 years’ experience in Renewables.

Aidan holds a Bachelor of Business Legal Studies from University College Dublin and a Masters of Financial Services from the Michael Smurfit School of Business where he qualified with 1^st Class Honors.
