John Crumlish

John Crumlish has worked in the cultural sector for most of his professional life and has spent over 20 years as CEO of Galway International Arts Festival. Under his leadership, GIAF has grown into one of Ireland’s best-known cultural organisations and a major European festival that now attracts an attendance of more than 450,000.

GIAF has also now established itself as an important Irish producer of new work in theatre and the visual arts, with productions regularly touring Ireland, the UK, Europe, the USA, Asia, and Australia.
