Maureen Haverty is a Principal at Seraphim Space, a specialist venture capital firm investing globally across space and deep technology. Her investment interests focus particularly on security and resilience, including technologies spanning space, maritime autonomy and critical infrastructure.
She recently led Seraphim’s investments in Mutable Tactics and Online Oceans, and serves as a board director at Online Oceans and ChAI, a technology company transforming how businesses manage commodity price risk.
Originally from Ireland, Maureen was previously an early employee and later COO of space propulsion company Apollo Fusion, which was acquired by Astra for $150 million. She holds a PhD in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Manchester.
